Alternatives

As I found the EZ-AG through looking at other MIDI guitar products, I thought it would be a good idea to list them here in case people didn't know about them. I haven't tried any of them yet, but if anyone can compare and contrast (especially the Ztar vs EZ) let me know!

Ztar

This is made by Starr Labs. This looks like an EZ in the sense it has a button board and seperate string block - but that's probably where the similarities end. They have all kinds of cool sounding features - like multiple notes per string, pitch bend neck-strips, 24 frets(!) - the list is too long to mention here.

If I were a rich man I would have one of these. If Mr. Starr is reading this and you have a couple knocking about the workshop please don't hesitate to send me one... ;)

Axon 100

This is a different kind of alternative - a hexaphonic pickup and an external module. It's not really the purpose of this site to go off on a tangent as large as explaining this system - so instead just check out the videos on YouTube
